By: Pac-12 Conference

AJ Ferrari, R-So., Cal State Bakersfield (Allen, Texas)

Cal State Bakersfield’s AJ Ferrari was named Pac-12 Wrestler of the Week after an undefeated weekend at 197 pounds at the Norman Duals in Oklahoma.

Ferrari picked up a trio of wins in Norman, including a pin over Chattanooga's David Harper and a major decision victory over former NCAA qualifier Bradley Hill. The Allen, Texas native improved to 5-0 on the season to add to his sparkling individual record; the redshirt sophomore has now won 25-straight collegiate matches and boasts a 35-1 all-time record as a collegian.

It’s the third Pac-12 weekly honor of the season and second-straight for the Roadrunners, as Jake Andrews won the award on Nov. 26 and Guillermo Escobedo most recently secured the acclaim on Dec. 17 following Bakersfield’s dual meet victory over Michigan State.
