FINAL RACE RESULTS
GOLD RIVER, Calif. – The STANFORD women's rowing team and WASHINGTON men's team both took home the titles at the 2024 Pac-12 Rowing Championships at Lake Natoma on Sunday, May 19. For the Cardinal, it was their fourth conference title and third-straight. The Huskies are Pac-12 champions for the 41st time and first since 2021, extended their place as the winningest program in Pac-12 history.
Stanford finished with 45.5 points thanks to sweeping victories in the Varsity Eight, Varsity Four and both the Second and Third Varsity Eight. CALIFORNIA finished in second place overall with 36 points, finishing in second place in two of those four races and third place in the other two. WASHINGTON claimed third place with 35.5 points, finishing in third place or better in all four of the scoring races. OREGON STATE (24 points), USC (15.5 points), UCLA (13 points) and WASHINGTON STATE (12.5 points) rounded out women's standings.
On the men's side, the Huskies racked up 72 points with wins in the Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Eight and Third Varsity Eight while placing second in the Novice Eight. CALIFORNIA took second place with 65 points, winning the Novice Eight and finishing second in all three other scoring races. OREGON STATE (47 points) finished third and STANFORD (42 points) finished fourth to round out the men's standings.
With its Conference win, the Stanford women's team will receive the Pac-12's automatic qualifier to the NCAA Championships regatta. The 2024 NCAA Division I Rowing Championship field will be announced on Tuesday, May 21 at 2:00 p.m. PT in a selection show on NCAA.com. The championship finals will take place from May 31 - June 2 at East Fork/Harsha Lake in Bethel, Ohio, hosted by Marietta College and the Cincinnati USA Sports Commission.
For the Pac-12 men's rowing programs, the 121st Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) Regatta will take place May 31 - June 2 at Mercer Lake in West Windsor Township, N.J.
