CORVALLIS, Ore. – Led by Sage Brooks, the Oregon State Cross Country team finished ninth at the NCAA West Regional Championships.
Brooks finished first for the Beavers, placing 49th with a time of 20:39.7. The junior improved from last years finish, moving up 58 spots. Close behind, Erin Cosgrove finished in 20:41.8 to earn 50th and Eimy Martinez in 53rd posting a 20:46.9 finish.
Next over the line for the Beavs was Kate Laurent, making her second regional appearance. Laurent finished in 20:54.0 to earn 57th. Sydney Patyka finished 91st, posting a time of 21:22.2. Erika Cunniam finished in 21:26.5 to cinch 96th and Ainsley Herron finished in 21:43.9 for 113th.
Oregon State finished ninth overall out of 39 teams, earning a team score of 297.
