The Pac-12 today announced its football weekly awards for Week 2 of the 2026 season with three of the eight football playing schools earning awards, including a pair of winners from Boise State's 38-20 victory over Memphis.
OFFENSE:  Dylan Riley, 3rd year, RB, Boise State (Moreno Valley, Calif.)

• Ran for a career-high 206 yards on 19 carries, averaging 10.84 yards per attempt.
• 2nd career game with 200+ rush yards after racking up 201 yards last season against UNLV.  8th player in Boise history to have multiple career games with 200+ rush yards, joining Ashton Jeanty, Alexander Mattison, Jeremy McNichols, Jay Ajayi, Ian Johnson, Brock Forsey and Cedric Minter.
• Had a long rush of 71 yards, his 2nd career run of 70+ yards.  Had a 77-yard run last season against Eastern Washington.
• Totaled 90 yards after contact and forced 9 missed tackles.
• 4th career game averaging over 10 yards per rush.
• Recorded 134 rushing yards in the first half.
• Also caught 2 passes for 11 yards.

DEFENSE:  Jaylen Thomas, 3rd year, DB, Washington State (Los Gatos, Calif.)

• Had 2 interceptions, his first career interceptions.
• Returned the 2nd INT 50 yards for touchdown right before halftime.
• 1st WSU player with multiple interceptions in a game since Sam Lockett III had 2 against Arizona in November 2022 and the first to have multiple interceptions with at least one returned for touchdown since Armani Marsh in the 2021 Apple Cup win at Washington.
• 1st Cougar with an INT returned for touchdown since Taariq Al-Uqdah accomplished the feat in the 2024 regular season finale at Oregon State.  
• Started at nickel, made 4 tackles (3 solo, 1 assist).

SPECIAL TEAMS:  Cam Bates, 3rd year, WR/KR, Boise State (Mansfield, Texas)

• Scored on a 72-yard punt return in the 3rd quarter, the first punt return of his career.
• First Boise State player with a punt return for touchdown since Stefan Cobbs returned one 81 yards against UTEP in September 2021.  The Broncos have returned 3 blocked punts for touchdowns since then with Deven Wright recovering one in the end zone in 2022 at New Mexico and Boise State returning 2 blocked punts for scores in the same game the previous year against the Lobos.
• Added 3 receptions for 24 yards, matching his career high for catches in a game done 3 times previously, all last season.

FRESHMAN:  Jesse Legree, 1st year, WR, Oregon State (Baltimore, Md.)

• Totaled 240 yards receiving and 2 touchdowns in the Beavers' near upset of No. 13 Texas Tech
• His 240 yards marked the 2nd most ever by a Beaver in a game, following Mike Hass' 293 yards at Boise State in 2004.  Tied for the 25th most receiving yards in a game in the history of the Pac-12.
• Is the first Beaver to surpass 200 yards since Isaiah Hodgins in 2018. Also the first Beaver to surpass 200 yards receiving at home since Hass in 2003.
• Caught a 75-yard pass for a score in the first quarter, one of just 25 receptions at OSU to have gone for 75 yards or more. Coupled with a 71-yarder at Houston, he is the first Beaver with back-to-back games with one 70-yard reception or more since Chad Johnson in 2000.
• All of his 8 catches against the Red Raiders went for either a touchdown or a first down.
• 247Sports & On3 National Freshman of the Week while also named to the PFF National Team of the Week for Week 2.
• Through the first 2 weeks of the season, Legree ranks first in FBS in both receiving yards (376) and receiving yards per game (188.0).  Also ranks 2nd in the country in all-purpose yards per game (188.0) and 9th in both yards per reception (28.92) and receiving touchdowns (3).
• First player to win Pac-12 Freshman of the Week in back-to-back weeks since Arizona QB Noah Fifita did it twice in the 2023 season.  The first to do it in the first 2 weeks of the season since California RB Jaydn Ott in 2022.
