The Pac-12 today announced its Players of the Week for Women's Soccer, Men's Soccer and Volleyball, highlighting several key performances from the week that was.

WOMEN'S SOCCER


Offensive Player of the Week: MF Amelia Severn – Gonzaga (Scored a goal and notched a pair of assists during a 2-0 week for Gonzaga, wins over Utah Valley and Montana. She now ranks second in program history with 17 career assists)

Defensive Player of the Week: GK Ashlyn Dvorak GK, Washington State (Made a career-high 13 saves in the Cougars' match against Seattle U, the most by a Cougar keeper in six seasons, and tied for sixth-most in program history)
 
Newcomer of the Week: MF KK Chowana-Bandhu, San Diego State (Scored in both matches for the Aztecs during a 2-0 week, playing a combined 132 minutes in her two starts)

Defensive Player of the Week: GK John Nicolson (Recorded eight saves in the Beaver's 3-1 win at No. 25 UC Santa Barbara)

Newcomer of the Week: GK Ulrik Stroem, California Baptist (Had a pair of shutout performances against Grand Canyon and Pacific in a pair of wins for the Lancers. He recorded three saves in each win)

Offensive Player of the Week: OH/OPP Claire Wagstaff, San Diego State (44 kills (4.4 kills/set) on .255 hitting %, 7 aces, 7 block involvement (1 solo +6 assists) for 55 total points (5.5 per set) Wagstaff had 44 kills on the week across 10 sets. Wagstaff averaged 5.5 points per set after adding another 7 aces. Her weekend was highlighted by 17 kills in a sweep of Montana on Saturday. She had 20 points (17 kills, 2 aces and 2 block assists) in the three set win, the most points by a Zag in a three set match since 2019)

Defensive Player of the Week: MB Kekua Richards, Colorado State (Averaged 2.43 blocks per set across two games against No. 17 Colorado (17 block assists), out-blocked Colorado individually in the sweep of the Buffs Saturday night (9-7), added 8 blocks in Thursday’s competition at Colorado and added 12 kills offensively and totaled 20.5 points - 2.93 per set) 

Setter of the Week: S Jackie Matias, Oregon State (Started and played in all six sets over the weekend, totaled 62 assists (10.33/set) and 19 digs (3.17/set) to go with five kills (0.83/set) and two aces, recorded her fourth double-double of the season in a sweep of Portland State, tallying 38 assists and 11 digs, also contributing a career-high five kills on a 0.833 hitting percentage and had eight digs and 24 assists at No. 23 Oregon)
