The Pac-12 today announced its football weekly awards for Week 4 of the 2026 season with the 4 awards each going to a representative of a different school with 2 programs earning their first ever Pac-12 weekly awards.
OFFENSE:  Rayshon Luke, 5th year, RB, Fresno State (South Central, Calif.)

• Rushed for a game-high and career-high 167 yards and 1 touchdown on just 11 carries in Fresno State’s 38-24 win over Rice
• 1st career game with 100+ rush yards, previous high was 96 yards (on 10 carries) last season against Georgia Southern (Aug. 30)
• Tied for the most rushing yards in a game by a Fresno State player in the Matt Entz era with teammate Bryson Donelson, who had 167 in last year's game against Georgia Southern.  That total is the most by a Bulldog since Jordan Mims rans for 209 yards in the 2022 LA Bowl against Washington State
• Averaged an impressive 15.2 yards per carry and did not record a negative rushing attempt.  Had 3rd highest average (min. 10 attempts) in program history and the highest average since Don Driscoll had a record 17.1 against San Francisco State in 1958
• Added 3 receptions for 10 yards, finishing with a game-high 177 yards from scrimmage on 14 touches.  Most by a Bulldog since Donelson had 192 scrimmage yards (167 rush, 25 rec) last season against Georgia Southern
• Broke 4 runs of at least 15 yards, including gains of 17, 45, 15 and 52 yards
• Sealed the victory with a season-long 52-yard touchdown run in the 4th quarter, restoring Fresno State’s 14-point advantage just 1:21 after Rice had cut the lead to 7.  2nd longest run by a Bulldog this season after Donelson's 56-yard TD in Week 2 against Sacramento State.  3rd run of 50+ yards in Luke's career after a 68-yard run last year against Nevada and a 69-yard touchdown last year against Utah State.  Joines Jordan Mimis (2020-22) and Malik Sherrod (2023) as only Fresno State players since at least 1996 with 3 runs of 50+ yards in their Bulldog careers.  Luke also had a 66-yard reception in 2023 when he played for Arizona 
• Accounted for 67 percent of Fresno State’s rushing yardage as the Bulldogs totaled 249 yards and 2 touchdowns on the ground
• 3rd Pac-12 Football Player of the Week award for Fresno State over the last 2 weeks
• This award has now been won by a player from a different Pac-12 school in all 4 weeks so far this season

ALSO NOMINATED:  Matt Wagner, TE, Boise State; AJ Newberry, RB, Oregon State; Brad Jackson, QB, Texas State; Grady Brosterhous, QB, Utah State
 
DEFENSE:  Brevin Hamblin, 4th year, Safety, Utah State (Syracuse, Utah)

• Season-high 12 tackles, his first double-digit tackle game of the season and the 11th of his career to help lead Utah State to a 21-10 win over Troy, the Aggies 1st of the season
• Had double-digit tackles in the 1st half alone
• 3rd time in his last 6 games dating back to last season that Hamblin has had 12+ tackles in a game
• Intercepted his 1st pass of the season and the 2nd of his career in the 4th quarter and returned it 33 yards.  The 33-yard return is the 3rd longest by a Pac-12 player this season
• Interception stopped a Troy drive which had moved deep into Aggie territory to preserve 11-point lead
• Ranks 5th in the Pac-12 this season with 31 tackles with 14 of them solo
• The Aggies had 3 interceptions as a team, the first time USU has accomplished that since last year's bowl game against Washington State
• 1st Utah State player to win a Pac-12 Football Player of the Week award
• This award has now been won by a player from a different Pac-12 school in all 4 weeks so far this season

SPECIAL TEAMS:  Dameon Crowe, 1st year, WR/KR, Texas State (Richardson, Texas)

• Had a 77-yard punt return for a touchdown to cap off the scoring of Texas State's 63-10 win over Incarnate Word
• Had a total of 98 yards on his 2 punt returns, the first 2 punt returns of his career.  Had a 21-yard return on a punt midway through the 3rd quarter and then the 77-yard touchdown return with 1:39 left in the game
• 1st punt return for a score since teammate Beau Sparks returned one 80 yards against Georgia State in 2024.  Sparks returned 3 punts for a school record 200 yards in that game.  Crowe's 98 yards are the 5th most punt return yards in a game in Bobcat history
• Longest punt return by a Pac-12 player so far this season and 4th player from the conference to return one for a score in 2026
• 4th longest punt return for a touchdown by a Texas State player in at least the last 30 seasons
• Added 3 catches for 30 yards which are both career highs for the true freshman after catching 1 pass for 7 yards in the season opener against Texas
• 1st Texas State player to win a Pac-12 Football Player of the Week award
• This award has now been won by a player from a different Pac-12 school in all 4 weeks so far this season

FRESHMAN:  Jesse Legree, 1st year, WR, Oregon State (Baltimore, Md.)

• Caught 6 passes for 109 yards and 2 touchdowns in the Beavers' 33-7 win at UTEP, snapping a 10-game road losing streak for OSU
• Joined Mike Hass and Brandin Cooks as the only 3 players in OSU history with 4 consecutive 100-yard receiving efforts. Hass went 5 straight in 2005 and Cooks had 5 consecutive in 2013.
• 1st Pac-12 player with 4 straight efforts since Rome Odunze at Washington in 2023 (who's position coach in 2023 was JaMarcus Shephard)
• Only player in FBS this season with 4 games with 100+ yards receiving 
• Caught 2 touchdowns to give him 6 on the year, putting him just 2 shy of breaking into the top 10 for a single season at Oregon State
• Scored on a 14-yard catch late in the first quarter, then caught a 19-yard strike late in the third quarter
• Later in the 3rd quarter also caught a 46-yard pass from Braden Atkinson on 3rd-and-3 with OSU on its own 33. Pushed the ball to the UTEP 21 and helped set up Oregon State's final score of the game in the 4th quarter
• Ranks 2nd in the nation with 585 receiving yards and 146.3 receiving yards per game while also charting in the Top 5 for both yards per catch (25.43, 5th) and receiving scores (6, T-4th)
• 1st player in conference history since award was created prior to 2020 season to claim this honor in 4 straight weeks.  2nd player to earn this prize 4+ times in a season with Arizona QB Noah Fifita taking it home 5 times in 2023
