Oregon State's Jake Luton thanks young fan for kind gesture after injury
As the old axiom says, sometimes big things come in small packages. For Oregon State's Jake Luton, the biggest of kind gestures came from a young fan.
Luton, who suffered a spine fracture during the Beavers' loss to Washington State this past Saturday, spent the night in a Spokane hospital before returning home to Corvallis.
During his stay, a boy named Silas saw Jake get injured on television and insisted on bringing him a cupcake and checking up on him.
Jake put his experience into a tweet, accompanied by photos of him greeting Silas.
Thank you, Silas. pic.twitter.com/pRIirqbwKk
