TEMPE, Ariz. – Eleven Arizona State University women’s basketball games will be televised by Pac-12 Networks this season according to an announcement made by the Pac-12 on Tuesday. ASU’s 11 appearances are among the league-record 106 games that will be televised as part of the Pac-12’s television package.

The Sun Devils will make their 2013-14 Pac-12 Networks debut on Sat., Dec. 21 (12:30 p.m. MT) when they host 2013 NCAA Tournament participant Miami. ASU’s game against Miami will be Native American Day as the program will honor the jersey of former Sun Devil standout Ryneldi Becenti in a special halftime ceremony.

ASU will make the second of back-to-back appearances on Pac-12 Networks on Mon., Dec. 30 (6 p.m.) when it hosts 2013 NCAA Tournament participant Syracuse in its final non-conference matchup.

Half of ASU’s 18-game Pac-12 schedule will be televised live with at least one telecast slated on seven of the nine weekends of conference play.

ASU’s contest at Washington (Sun., Jan. 5 at 2 p.m. PT/3 p.m. MT) will be the first of three consecutive games the Sun Devils will have televised as Pac-12 Networks will come to Tempe the following week when ASU hosts USC (Fri., Jan. 10 at 6 p.m. MT) and 2013 NCAA Tournament participant UCLA (Sun., Jan. 12 at 1 p.m. MT).

The following week will be highlighted by a televised twilight tilt against defending Pac-12 champion Stanford on Mon., Jan. 20 at 5 p.m. MT. Six days later, the Sun Devils can be seen on Pac-12 Networks when they travel to Boulder, Colo., to take on 2013 NCAA Tournament participant Colorado (Sun., Jan. 26 at 1 p.m. MT).

The Sun Devils will be featured on Pac-12 Networks four more times in the month of February, starting with their home-and-home series against in-state rival Arizona (Tues., Feb. 4 at 7:30 p.m. MT in Tempe and Sun., Feb. 9 at 1 p.m. MT in Tucson). Also scheduled to be broadcast in the month of February will be ASU’s contest at 2013 NCAA Final Four participant California (Sun., Feb. 16 at 4 p.m. PT/5 p.m. MT) and its Senior Day game vs. Utah (Sun., Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. MT).

For the second consecutive year, every game of the Pac-12 Tournament will be televised live with the first eight games of the tourney (Mar. 6-8) being carried by Pac-12 Networks before concluding with the championship game on ESPN on Sun., Mar. 9.

The Sun Devils, who have qualified for postseason play 13 of the last 14 years, will kick off their 2013-14 campaign on Sat., Nov. 9 (4 p.m. MT) when they host Hawaii. The game against the Rainbow Wahine will be the first of nine on ASU’s 12-game non-conference schedule in which it will face a team that qualified for postseason play in 2013. Add to that the Pac-12 portion of the schedule and the Sun Devils will end up playing 19 contests against teams that earned postseason bids last season, including 11 against 2013 NCAA Tournament teams – at Texas Tech, vs. North Carolina at the Cancun Challenge, vs. Miami, vs. Syracuse, vs. UCLA and home-and-home games against Cal, Stanford and Colorado.
