Q. What does Volleyball mean to you?

A. I feel like my whole life volleyball has defined me. To me volleyball is life.

Q. What sport would you be playing if it was not volleyball?

A. Water polo in college probably. I played as a goalie in high school for quite a long time and my wingspan was very long so I was pretty good at water polo.

Q. What do you do on your free time?

A. I really like to cook, listen to music and watch movies. I like to do general things and just relax.

Q.  Favorite candy?

A. Butterfinger

Q. Interesting fact about you?

A.  I have been out of the country about 4 times and I think that’s pretty cool.

Q. How has volleyball helped shape who you are as a person?

A.  Volleyball has helped me learn how to be a leader and how to deal with people when you are unhappy or when someone else is unhappy. There are a lot of emotions that are involved with the team and I have learned how to combat all of that.

Q. Who is your biggest influence?

A. My mom, she’s a good role model.

Q. Do you believe everything happens for a reason?  Why?

A. I do! I believe that you create your own happiness and no matter what happens, you control your level of happiness in your life and there is a reason for everything

Q. What role do you say you play on the team?

A. I fell like I’m a stabilizer! I like to look at myself as the person who calms everyone down. Everyone has a ton of emotions that come over them during some games, so I just like to help and keep everybody sane and let them know it is just a game.

Q. Favorite singer? Why?

A. Beyoncé! Because she is amazing!
