USC women's tennis had a tough first day of action out at the competitive ITA National Indoor Championships today. Trojans Giuliana Olmos and Zoë Scandalis were bumped out of the singles main draw with losses in the Round of 32. Olmos and doubles partner Gabby Smith had a first-round bye in the doubles draw, but fell in the Round of 16. The USC contingent now moves into consolation play out at the action in New York, played at the USTA-Billie Jean King Tennis Center.
