ASU Swimming To Compete In Texas A&M Invite, Diving In UT Invite

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Coming off a weekend trip to Los Angeles, the Arizona State men (2-3) and women’s (0-5) swim and dive teams are set to compete once again this week. While the swim teams take to College Station, Texas for the 2014 Art Adamson Invitational, the dive teams head to Austin, Texas for the Texas Invitational.

The Art Adamson Invitational will span from Thursday, Nov. 20 to Saturday, Nov. 22. In addition to the Sun Devils, six men's and women’s programs are set to compete, including Texas A&M, LSU, TCU, Stanford, SMU, and Grand Canyon. Boise State will also be represented on the women’s side. 

Annually, this meet showcases some of the fastest collegiate swimming of the year. Last year, swimmers notched nearly 300 NCAA “A” or “B” cuts.

19/20: 200 Freestyle

21/22: 100 Breaststroke

23/24: 100 Backstroke

25/26: Diving

27/28: 800 Freestyle Relay

Saturday:

29/30: Platform Diving

31/32: 1,650 Freestyle

33/34: 200 Backstroke

35/36: 100 Freestyle

37/38: 200 Breaststroke

39/40: 200 Butterfly

41/42: 400 Freestyle Relay

On the diving side, the Texas Invitational also spans from Nov. 20-22, hosted at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center. Participating schools include Texas, Hawaii, California, TCU, Houston, Wyoming, and Kansas, as well as the Sun Devils. All of the finals will air live on Longhorn Network, and live scoring for the meet can be found at DiveMeets.com.
