After a hard-fought battle across 14 races, junior Christina Sakellaris finished second at the LaserPerformance ICSA Women's Singlehanded National Championship, co-hosted by Santa Barbara Yacht Club and the University of California Santa Barbara.
John Kirkpatrick, Christina Sakellaris, and Hallie Schiffman will represent Stanford at this weekend's LaserPerformance Men's and Women's Singlehanded National Championships, co-hosted by Santa Barbara Yacht Club and the University of California Santa Barbara. Sakellaris is returning as the defending single-handed national champion.
Stanford's team of skipper Jack Parkin and crew Wiley Rogers, Victoria Thompson and Jacob Rosenberg captured the Cornelius Shields, Sr. Trophy after sweeping Georgetown in a first-to-three wins in the event final.
