Huskies To Play Team USA In Clearwater

The Washington Huskies have announced a second game against the USA National Team this season, set to take place at the Clearwater Invitational on Sunday, February 16. Washington will also host Team USA later in the year for its home opener, set for March 12 at 6:00 pm.

The Washington Huskies have announced that they will host the USA National Team on Thursday, March 12 at 6:00 PM. This will be the first time that Team USA has ever played at Husky Softball Stadium and will be a part of Team USA's run-up to the Olympics this summer in Tokyo.

As the 2020 season continues to approach, meet another newcomer to the Oregon State softball roster, Morgan Allen. Morgan (Mo to her teammates) is a junior transfer from the University of Washington that is a utility player for the Beavers.

Xiao is a freshman this season that plays infield and is a right-handed pitcher. Xiao also is the youngest on the team after graduating from San Luis Obispo High School a year early to become a Beaver!

Bates Named Female Sports Star Of The Year Nominee

For the second year in a row, the Seattle Sports Commission has named Washington's Sis Bates as one of the finalists for Female Sports Star of the Year. This is the third consecutive year that Washington Softball has had a nominee for this award, with Bates becoming one of the first Huskies ever to be nominated in back-to-back years.
