Sunday Setback

The Stanford offense just couldn't solve left-hander Callie Turner on Sunday afternoon, as the Tennessee starter tossed a complete-game shutout and limited the Cardinal to just four hits in a 5-0 loss.

Win Streak Reaches Nine

Stanford's win streak stretched to nine on Saturday, as the Cardinal (22-3) defeated ETSU and Toledo from the Tennessee Invitational. The victory was also Stanford's 17th in its last 18 games, and 19th in its last 21.
 

Cardinal Keeps Rolling

Stanford's offense continued to roll and the pitching staff impressed as the Cardinal (20-3) earned a pair of wins to open the Tennessee Invitational on Friday.

Headed to Knoxville

Stanford will return to the road this week following a 15-game homestand, traveling to Knoxville, Tenn. for the Tennessee Invitational featuring host Tennessee, ETSU and Toledo.

Early Runs Guide Victory

Stanford (18-3) finished a perfect weekend of play from the DeMarini Invitational on Sunday, recording a 9-1 victory in five innings over Rhode Island (4-14) from Smith Family Stadium.

Two More Walk-Offs

Senior Teaghan Cowles delivered a walk-off, RBI-single in the first of two Saturday games and sophomore Kate Cressey launched a three-run, walk-off home run in the sixth inning of game two to hand Stanford two more walk-off wins.
