The Utah women's track and field team returns to action this Friday and Saturday, Jan. 18-19, after the long winter break at the Ed Jacoby Invitational hosted by Boise State University. The two-day meet will take place at the Jacksons Indoor Facility in Nampa, Idaho with competition slated to begin on Friday at 2:30 p.m. (MST) and Saturday at 9:00 a.m. (MST).
The Utah track and field/cross country program signed five student-athletes to National Letters of Intent, head coach Kyle Kepler announced. Jasie York, Ally, Gomm, Karli Branch, Ellie Lundgreen and Kaitlyn Mercer have each signed NLI's and will join the program for the upcoming 2019-20 season.
The Utah women's track and field team opened up its 2018-19 indoor schedule at the Weber State Winter Open Friday and Saturday. Freshmen Taylor Watson, Maya Lebar, and senior Raynee Helm-Wheelock highlighted the meet for the Utes as they each recorded times in the 55-meter dash to move them into first, fourth, and fifth all-time at Utah, respectively.
The University of Utah women's track and field team opens up its 2018-19 indoor season Friday Nov. 30th-Dec. 1st, at the Weber State Winter Open in Ogden, Utah. Competition is slated to begin at 4 p.m. on Friday at the Marquart Fieldhouse and 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Stromberg Arena.
