Brendon Stewart won the men's 60m, Isaiah Jewett the men's 400m, Jalyn Jackson the men's triple jump and Mecca McGlaston finished tops among the collegians in the women's 60m hurdles during the final day of the Martin Luther King Jr. Collegiate Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M. today (Jan. 25).
Nathan Bultman won the men's weight throw, Joy McArthur won the women's weight throw, Isaiah Jewett won the men's 600m and Earnest Sears III won the men's high jump during the first day of the Martin Luther King Jr. Collegiate Invitational in Albuquerque, N.M. today (Jan. 24).
The preseason No. 1 ranked USC women's and No. 3 ranked Trojan men's track and field teams will open the indoor season at the at the Martin Luther King Jr. Collegiate Invitational to be held at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, N.M. on Jan. 24-25.
Freshman Jazmyne Frost is in her first season as a sprinter on the USC track and field team. She was a 2018 New Balance indoor All-American and in 2018 helped lead Junipero Serra HS to the state team title.
Included in the new recruiting class are Ashton Allen (sprints), Kimberly Harris (sprints/jumps), Jasmine Jones (hurdles/jumps), Trey Knight (throws) and Morgan Smalls (jumps/sprints).
USC All-Americans Angie Annelus, Chanel Brissett and TeeTee Terry were named to the preseason 2020 Bowerman Watch List, it was announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) today (January 6).
