Based on the post-medical scratches startlist for the NCAA Indoor Championships on March 11, all athletes entered for the Championships will be recognized as All-America for the 2020 indoor track and field season.
USC had nine men's and 12 women's track and field student-athletes which met the criteria of having a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, being at least a sophomore academically, completing one full academic year at the institution and competing in at least 50 percent of its team's contests.
The No. 2 ranked USC women's team and the No. 11 ranked Trojan men's team will be competing at the 2020 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Albuquerque Convention Center in Albuquerque, N.M. on March 13-14. ESPN3 will stream the championships live starting at 4:15 p.m. PT on March 13 and at 3 p.m. PT on March 14. A re-air of the championship will take place starting at 6 p.m. PT on March 16 on ESPNU.

Karlee Freeman and Katherine Longjohn in the women's hammer throw and Jason Kim and in the men's hammer throw set personal bests at the Beach Opener in Long Beach, Calif. today (March 6). The majority of the Beach Opener will take place on March 7 beginning at 10 a.m.
USC Director of Track & Field Caryl Smith Gilbert honored as the 2020 NCAA Division I Indoor West Region Women's Coach of the Year, while sprinter Bailey Lear was the Indoor West Region Women's Track Athlete of the Year and high jumper Earnest Sears III was the Indoor West Region Men's Field Athlete of the Year.
