The Cal Bears defeated Idaho State 45-23 to improve to 3-0 on the season. Despite a slow start on both sides of the ball, Bears' safety Ashtyn Davis made several big plays including an 89-yard kickoff return and an interception to set up a score that helped push Cal past Idaho State.
