The Wildcats grabbed their first win of the season and their first of the Kevin Sumlin era, defeating Southern Utah 62-31 at home. After starting the season 0-2, Wildcats quarterback Khalil Tate threw for a career-high 349 yards and five touchdowns against the Thunderbirds, adding to Arizona's 626 yards of total offense.
