2019 NCAA Softball Tournament: Gabbie Plain's no-hitter powers Washington to NCAA Super Regionals berth
May 20, 2019
Washington sophomore Gabbie Plain tossed the sixth no-hitter in Husky postseason history to clinch the Seattle Regional over Mississippi State and send the Dawgs to a super regional matchup with Kentucky in the next round. Plain was brilliant through the game, striking out ten. Only three balls left the infield all day, all routine flyouts. It was the third no-hitter she has thrown this season alone. She now has a 0.66 ERA in postseason play. The Huskies' offense impressed as well, with home runs from Morganne Flores and Emma Helm launching UW to an 8-0 win.
