No. 2 seeded Stanford fell to No. 1 seeded Notre Dame 84-68 in the Elite Eight round of the NCAA Tournament on Monday night. Despite a strong start with the Cardinal up 44-41 at the half, the Fighting Irish went on a 9-0 run in the second half to maintain the lead for the remainder of the game. Kiana Williams led the Cardinal in scoring with 20 points on 50% shooting from beyond the arch.
