The USC Trojans are advancing to the 2019 NCAA Women's Water Polo semifinal round after defeating UCSD 14-8 on Friday in the quarterfinals. After some back-and-forth in the first two periods, the Trojans tallied six-straight goals in the third while shutting out the Tritons on the other end. USC carried that momentum through the remainder of the game to maintain the lead. Junior diver Denise Mammolito also netted her 100th-career goal with a 6-on-5 slam in the first period.
