Oregon State defeated Washington for the first time since 2011 on Everett Hayes' last-second field goal, which sealed the 27-24 win for Beavers. Before Hayes' heroics, it was B.J. Baylor who was the star for Oregon State, rushing for 111 yards and two touchdowns. The win improved Oregon State's record to 4-1 (2-0) and it moved the Beavers into sole possession of first place in the Pac-12 North standings for the first time in program history. Washington fell to 2-3 (1-1) with the loss.
