Arizona State freshman Luguentz Dort is named Pac-12 Men's Basketball Player of the Week following his MVP performance at the MGM Resorts Main Event in Las Vegas. Dort averaged 25.0 points (16-32 FG, 5-8 3FG, 13-18 FT), 8.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals as the Sun Devils secured their second multi-team event title in as many seasons. Dort, who is the nation's third-leading rookie scorer at 23.0 points per game, is the first Arizona State freshman to garner the league's weekly award since James Harden in January 2008.
