In his third year at the helm, men's tennis head coach Clancy Shields has guided Arizona’s program back into the national spotlight, earning his first Pac-12 Coach of the Year honor. The Wildcats (17-8, 3-5 Pac-12) earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2010. They also finished their season at No. 29 in the ITA rankings, nearly 30 spots higher than their ranking last year at No. 58. Shields is the first Arizona coach to earn the award since Tad Berkowitz in 2009 and only the third Wildcat coach all-time.
