Arizona's Elena Deets was honored with the Pac-12 Gymnastics Coaches Choice of the Week award, presented by Pacific Premier Bank, for March 1. Deets earned career highs on bars (9.90) and tied her career high on floor (9.85) to help Arizona bet Utah for the first time in history. Deets competed on floor for the first time this season due to a preseason injury and tied her career best of 9.85. She followed a fall on bars with a career best 9.90 to help the GymCats earn a season best 49.200 on the event. Her 9.85 performance on floor helped the GymCats earn a 49.300 on the event to push them to a season best score of 196.850 to win the meet.
