Arizona's Paige Dimler was named Pac-12 Softball Freshman of the Week for May 2. Dimler hit .563 (9-for-16) to help the Wildcats record doubleheader sweeps against New Mexico State and Fresno State. Dimler homered in each of Arizona's four wins as she drove in 8 runs, scored five and slugged 1.313. She went a career-best 3-for-4 with four RBI in Arizona's run-rule victory on April 27 against New Mexico State. Dimler tied her career high of three hits in Arizona's second doubleheader win over Fresno State on April 30. She is currently second among Pac-12 freshmen in home runs (10).
