As part of the "Pac-12 Team Green" initiative and the "Zero Waste Game", which takes place among all 12 campuses each year at one football and one men's basketball game, Pac-12 Networks' Ashley Adamson visits the REPREVE mobile center and learns how the organization turns recycled plastic into clothing. REPREVE works with several popular brands and uses a sophisticated process of chopping, melting and spinning plastic into yarn that is then used for T-shirts, sweaters, socks and more.
