Cal earns first sweep at Washington State since 2002

California baseball beat Washington State 8-2 at Bailey-Brayton Field in Pullman, Wash. on April 14, 2024. This was the Bears first sweep in Pullman since 2002. Trey Newmann picked up his first win after striking out a career-high nine batter. Cal had a season-high 17 hits. Seven different Cal batters drove in a run. Joey Kramer had two hits for the Cougars.
