Cal's Camryn Rogers' Mother speaks on NCAA hammer throw title

Track & Field
Jun 6, 2019
Cal sophomore Camryn Rogers won the 2019 NCAA Hammer Throw Championship after finishing with a throw of 71.50 meters (234 ft. 7 in.). That mark was good enough to set Cal's school record in the event, and win the Golden Bears' first women's hammer throw title of all time. It was also the best women's hammer throw in the United States this year, and the second-best in Pac-12 conference history. After the event, Camryn's mother, Shari, shared her thoughts on the accomplishment and her special bond with her daughter with Pac-12 Networks.
