Bob Schloredt's quarterback sneak right before half helped No. 6 Washington knock off No. 1 Minnesota 17-7 in the 47th Rose Bowl on Jan. 2, 1961. Schloredt won the Player of the Game award against Minnesota and received the same accolade a year before in 1960 – he remains the only player to achieve the Player of the Game honor in back-to-back years.
