Cori Close talks UCLA's ability to finish strong on the road ahead of the Bruins' journey through the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament
Mar 20, 2019
UCLA finished the 2018-19 road season with an 8-3 overall record, including a 7-2 mark in Pac-12 play. This was the best road record since the 2012-13 season, when the Bruins finished 13-3. Four of UCLA's six wins over ranked opponents this season came on the road (California, Arizona State, Utah, Oregon), the second-most road wins over ranked opponents in program history. The No. 6 seed Bruins are on the road again, this time to College Park, MD, to take on 11th-seeded Tennessee in round one of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, March 23.
