Arizona State men's basketball defeated Washington State 83-74 Saturday night in Tempe to snap a three-game losing streak and clinch a first-round bye in the Pac-12 Tournament. Alonzo Verge Jr. had a team-high 20 points for the Sun Devils. Tony Miller had a career-high 21 points to lead the Cougars, who have lost six of their last seven games.
