No. 11 Oregon outlasts Washington State in 37-35 thriller on Saturday night in Eugene. True freshman kicker Camden Lewis made the game-winning 26-yard field goal to keep playoff hopes alive for the Ducks. On the final drive of the contest, quarterback Justin Herbert completed all four of his passes to help set-up the game-winning field goal. CJ Verdell rushed for 257 yards and three touchdowns – Verdell's 257 rushing yards are the most by a Pac-12 player this season. WSU quarterback Anthony Gordon threw for 406 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions. Oregon remains first in the Pac-12 North standings at 7-1, while the Cougars fall to last-place in the north at 1-4 in league play this season.
