After scoring twice in the fourth quarter to force overtime, Utah football lost 33-31 in a triple-overtime heartbreaker to San Diego State on Saturday, September 18th. Quarterback Cam Rising was spectacular in relief of starter Charlier Brewer, throwing three much needed touchdowns and converting a game-tying two-point conversion. The teams then traded scores through the first two overtime periods. But the Ute’s had a two-point conversion overturned in triple-overtime to seal the game for the Aztecs.
