Nikki Girard put an exclamation point on the victory by blasting a fifth-inning two-run homer to run-rule the Big Green. Dallas Escobedo did her part in the circle, striking out eight and giving up only one hit in five stellar innings. The Sun Devils advance to the winner's bracket of the Tempe regional where they face Michigan Saturday at 3 p.m. PT.
