California football put up impressive numbers on the road against TCU but the Golden Bears will have to settle for a hard fought 34-32 loss to the Horned Frogs. Quarterback Chase Garbers went 16-27 for 309 yards and two touchdowns, including a 54-yard touchdown pass to Trevon Clark to open the scoring. On the defensive side, Daniel Scott recorded six tackles and returned an interception for the Golden Bear’s fist pick-six since 2018. With the loss, the Golden Bears falls to 0-2 on the season and will turn their attention to next Saturday (Sep. 18th) when they host Sacramento State at 1 p.m. PT/ 2 p.m. MT on Pac-12 Network.
