Arizona State football pulls off the 31-28 upset over No. 6 Oregon in the Desert on Saturday night. Freshman quarterback Jayden Daniels threw for 408 yards and three touchdowns to help the Sun Devils become bowl eligible for the eighth time in the last nine seasons. Daniels set the ASU single-game and single-season records for most passing yards by a freshman. Wide receivers Brandon Aiyuk and Frank Darby combined for 11 receptions, 286 yards and three touchdowns. Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert finished the game with 310 passing yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions – first two-interception game this season. Johnny Johnson III had a career-high 207 receiving yds and 2 touchdowns for the Ducks. Oregon falls to 9-2 overall and 7-1 in league play, while Arizona State moves to 6-5 overall and 3-5 in conference.
