On a day where Washington State honored Klay Thompson, the Cougars' greatest shooter in school history, it was a current student-athlete, Isaac Bonton, who stole the show. Scoring a career-high 34 points, Bonton led Washington State past Oregon State 89-76 in Pullman on Saturday afternoon. Bonton and CJ Elleby (22 points) put on a clinic with shooting legends Thompson and Steph Curry in attendance for Thompson's jersey retirement ceremony. The victory was Washington State's 12th this season, eclipsing the team's total from last year. On Oregon State's side, Tres Tinkle led the Beavers with 22 points, including his 2,000th for his career.
