In a game that is sure to have massive ramifications for the college football world, No. 12 Oregon football fought its way to a huge road win vs. No. 3 Ohio State by a final of 35-28 on Saturday, September 11th in Columbus. Undermanned with star defensive end Kayvon Thibideaux on the sideline, running back C.J. Verdell and quarterback Anthony Brown Jr. turned in star-making performances to power the Ducks to victory. Verdell rushed for 161 yards and scored three touchdowns, including a 77-yard touchdown run. Brown Jr. passed for 236 yards and two scores, while adding another 65 yards on the ground. Still, the contest came down to a fourth quarter defensive stand, with D.J. Johnson clinching it for the Ducks on a game-ending sack.
