Dec 2, 2019
No. 22 Washington men's basketball got past South Dakota 75-55 in Seattle on Monday behind Isaiah Stewart's double-double. Stewart (16 points, 15 rebounds) was the star for the Huskies but Jaden McDaniels was not to be outdone, adding 20 points for himself. The unranked Coyotes kept it close, getting within four points late in the second half but the Huskies pulled away with a 13-2 run to put the game out of reach. With the victory, Washington improves to 6-1 on the season. The Huskies face a quick turnaround now, as they prepare to host Eastern Washington on Wednesday.
