No 8 Washington women's volleyball's run at a national title came to an end on Saturday afternoon, after falling to No. 1 Baylor in four sets. Washington made it this far in the NCAA tournament by defeating, Winthrop, South Carolina, and No. 9 Kentucky, but the Huskies could not get past the top-ranked team in the country and will have to settle for an exit in the elite eight round. Kara Bajema led the way for the Huskies on offense with 20 kills while Shayne McPherson set the tone on defense with 13 digs.
