Highlights: Oregon State men's basketball holds on to defeat Portland State, start season 7-1 for first time in 33 years

Oregon State men's basketball picked up its seventh win on the season after sneaking by Portland State 81-76 on Sunday in Corvallis. The Beavers start 7-1 for the first time since the 1986-87 season (Gary Payton’s freshman season). Oregon State was led by Tres Tinkle who nearly came away with a triple-double as he dropped 26 points, including 5-7 on three-point field goals, nine rebounds, and seven assists. On the defensive side of the ball, junior forward Kylor Kelley recorded six blocks against the Vikings marking the third time in his last four games that he has came away with at least six blocks. Oregon State moves to 14-0 all-time versus Portland State.
