Playing on the one-year anniversary of his heart surgery, Shareef O'Neal nearly notched a double-double for UCLA men's basketball. Last December, O'Neal needed surgery after a heart condition left him unable to compete. But he is back on the court now and putting up big numbers, with 11 rebounds and eight points in Saturday's effort. Unfortunately, it was not enough to lift the Bruins who fell to Notre Dame 75-61 in South Bend. The loss drops UCLA to 7-3 on the season. The Bruins will face another stiff test next Saturday, when they travel to Chapel Hill to take on No. 17 UNC.
