Stanford took down Fresno State on Monday night to advance to win the Stanford Regional and move on to the Super Regional round of the 2019 NCAA Baseball Tournament. Sophomore outfielder Christian Robinson and junior catcher Maverick Handley led the offensive outburst for the Cardinal, notching three and four RBIs, respectively. The critical moment came in the 5th inning, when Stanford poured on six runs thanks to a home run by Robinson and a two-run double by Handley. This will be the 11th Super Regional appearance for the Cardinal, where they'll look to advance to the College World Series for the first time since 2008. Stanford will take on Mississippi State in Starkville, Mississippi starting June 7th.
