The Stanford Cardinal shut down and shutout the UCLA Bruins 5-0 Saturday night in Los Angeles. John Hochstatter fired a complete game shutout for the Cardinal while Brant Whiting did the heavy lifting on offense, driving in three runs. The win evened up the weekend three-game series at one game apiece.
