Stanford fended off elimination Sunday against Youngstown State, defeating the Penguins 12-4 in Bloomington, Ind. A six-run second inning for the Cardinal included back-to-back home runs by Danny Diekroeger and Alex Blandino. Stanford plays Indiana Sunday at 3 p.m. PT to try and force a regional championship game on Monday.
