Stanford football opened its season in a shrine to football, facing off against Kansas State in AT&T Stadium, the Dallas Cowboys home, in Arlington, Texas on September 4th. But the Cardinal came up short, falling to the Wildcats 24-7. There were bright spots for the Cardinal however. Most notably quarterback Tanner McKee, who complete 15 of 18 passes and recorded his first career touchdown on a 14-yard pass to Brycen Tremayne. Stanford will look to get back on track next weekend when they head to Los Angeles to take on No. 15 USC on September 11th at 7:30 p.m. PT/ 8:30 p.m. MT on FOX.
