UCLA got back above .500 on the season with a road win in Corvallis Thursday night. Guard Chris Smith led the Bruins with a team-high 15 points on the night, while Jaime Jaquez Jr. tallied a cool 14 of his own in the UCLA victory. However, it was solid defense down the stretch that proved to be the key factor, as UCLA moved to 10-0 this season when its opponents score 65 points or fewer.
