UCLA men's basketball staged a comeback to win 69-65 over Long Beach State in head coach Mick Cronin's debut. Redshirt freshman Tyger Campbell led the Bruins with 15 points, five rebounds and five assists, while Michael Carter III led LBSU with 20 points, two rebounds and three assists. UCLA trailed 33-27 at halftime but put up 42 points to LBSU's 32 in the second half to seal the comeback victory.
